ABOUT ME

I lost my dear mother Joan twice.  Once to the horrific disease Dementia.  The second time was when she was released from it, and she passed. I was a care partner, and I lived with the disease as well. There was so much I did not know.

Since that time, through years of exploring, and studying, I have learned about how important the arts are to those with memory loss and their care partners. Especially music and movement.  My passion is to improve the quality of life for those affected by Dementia.  I use my extensive training, years of teaching,  professional experience in musical theatre, and years of being a Teaching Artist for Lincoln Center  Accessibility to create unique programs that are engaging and promote socialization.  And can add some happiness to one's day.
